Gerhard Grenzing (*1942) completed a five-year training at Rudolf von Beckerath in Hamburg. Afterward, he gained experience in various workshops across Europe. Already at age 25, he dedicated himself fully to the restoration of historical instruments on Mallorca. Five years later, he settled in El Papiol, near Barcelona, where he established his own workshop. There, important restorations of historical organs were carried out, as well as the construction of new organs. Since 2000, the team, now with about 18 employees, works in a spacious workshop specially built for this purpose. In total, 250 restorations and new organs have been realized, spread across different continents.
